What is the purpose of the lake in Morrison Town Center, and are there fish in it?
The lake stores reclaimed water we receive from the Town of Gilbert for our irrigation
system. Currently, the lake is stocked with koi, white amur, and tilapia fish, which
all help to control algae as well as the midge fly population.

How much open space is there, really?
About 20% of Morrison Ranch residential development is dedicated to open space. The Ranch’s master plan includes 400 acres of grassy, open space and eight and one half miles of tree-lined parkways. As the industrial areas develop, they too will have a large amount of open space. We like to think Morrison Ranch has given new meaning to the phrase “wide open spaces”!
How many trees have been planted within Morrison Ranch?
To date, more than 11,600 trees have been planted in our residential neighborhoods. We estimate there will be 8,000 to 10,000 more trees planted before the community is fully developed. Morrison Ranch industrial development will probably add an additional 3,000 to 4,000 trees.
Are there any custom lots available?
Currently, Higley Estates is the only part of Morrison Ranch with
1/2-acre lots or larger. The original plan for Morrison Ranch does
not include custom lots. However, since we
have received many inquiries about custom lots, we are now investigating
the possibility of redesigning a neighborhood to include them.
Is Morrison Homes in any way related to Morrison Ranch?
No. Morrison Homes is simply one of many builders who have chosen to
build homes within Morrison Ranch. The similarity in name is simply
a coincidence, though we certainly think it has a nice ring to it!
